Into the wild

Into the Wild - Sean Penn
Last night i deceided it was finally time to watch 'Into the wild'.
Into the wild, a film by Sean Penn is about a young man, an American hitchhiker, that hiked into the Alaskan wilderness. It is based on a true story. The story of Christopher McCandless. When Chris turned 22 and graduated from college, he deceided he did not wanted to be a part of organized society and called pursuing a career a '20th century invention'. Christopher was influenced by writers like Jack London, Henry David Thoreau and Leo Tolstoy.
It made me, once again, think about life, society and happiness.
A part from the story being absolutely breathtaking, the film was so well directed...it opens your heart up to all the beauty there is to see in the world. So i just wanted to share some of the film's lovely stills with you.
To conclude:
“Freethinkers are those who are willing to use their minds without prejudice and without fearing to understand things that clash with their own customs, privileges, or beliefs. This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking;” - Leo Tolstoy
